Educational guides (treatments not offered at Wumi)

These articles exist to help you understand the full landscape. The treatments below are not available at Wumi Body & Face Studio; where they are relevant, each guide explains what Wumi does offer as an alternative.

Treatment Area Guides

These guides are organised by body area — useful if you know where you want to focus rather than which technology to use. All link to the relevant body sculpting treatment areas overview.

  • Tummy & Waist — reducing the appearance of stubborn abdominal fat and tightening loose skin around the waist
  • Buttocks — non-surgical BBL, vacuum therapy and contouring for the glutes
  • Thighs — inner and outer thigh treatment, cellulite appearance and skin smoothing
  • Arms — upper arm treatment for the appearance of loose or heavy skin
  • Back — bra line, upper and lower back sculpting

Also see: cellulite treatment UK and slimming treatments UK for targeted advice on those specific goals.

Planning and Practicalities

Before committing to a course of treatment, these articles cover the logistics and aftercare.

Choosing a Therapist: Trust and Safety

This cluster of content exists because choosing the wrong practitioner is the biggest risk in the non-surgical aesthetic industry. There is no statutory regulation for most of these treatments in the UK, so your due diligence matters.

Key things to check before booking anywhere:

  • Training and certification — CPD-accredited courses from recognised training providers are the minimum standard. Ask to see certificates.
  • Insurance — your therapist should hold specific aesthetic therapy insurance (such as Salon Gold or Hiscox). General public liability alone is not sufficient.
  • Consultation process — a responsible practitioner will not book you for treatment without a consultation first. If a studio skips this step, walk away.
  • Realistic language — anyone promising guaranteed results, permanent fat removal or medical-grade outcomes from beauty treatments is not being honest with you.

Wumi Adewumi is certified via Curvology Academy (CPD-accredited), holds full professional insurance, and requires a 30-minute paid consultation before any treatment begins.

Book a Consultation

If you have read enough and want to take the next step, book a consultation at the studio in Dartford or enquire about the mobile service across Kent, London and Essex. A consultation costs £20 for 30 minutes and is the starting point for all treatment plans. Get in touch if you have a question first.

For the bigger picture, read our complete UK body sculpting guide.

Non-surgical treatments have no downtime, but results build gradually and vary between individuals. Not a weight-loss or medical service. A consultation and suitability check are required; you must be 18 or over.
